G41 (W) Gas Piston

The G41(W) Gas Piston is one of the key moving components of the Walther G41(W) Bang gas system. Positioned inside the gas tube, the piston converts the pressure generated by the muzzle gas trap into linear movement, initiating the operating cycle that unlocks and drives the bolt assembly rearward.

For the Bang system to function correctly, the piston must move freely while maintaining the proper fit inside the gas tube. Excessive wear, corrosion, or damage can increase friction or allow gas pressure to escape, reducing the efficiency of the operating system and causing unreliable cycling.
