18 may 20121 - safety lever -

Today we are working on the safety lever for the G43, we start out with a cylindrical part of material and turn it down on the lathe until we have the lever in a straight version of it.

The challenge then is to bend the safety lever in the right spot, this seems not to be an easy job and we are currently building a fixture to keep the safety lever aligned correctly under the press.
