The original gassystem of the G43/K43 is designed in such a way that it is not possible to adjust the gasflow for cycling the rifle.

Because there are many differtent types of 8x57 ammunition available wich all result in a different gasflow, it is important to adjust the gasflow in such a way that the rifle cycles without a problem but that is doesn't slams back the bolt and bolt carrier so violently that it will bend your receiver or cracks up the bolthouse cover.

In the shooters kit we provide you will find the following components

- Stainless steel gas piston 
- Steel Gastube 
- Steel Connectiong rod
- Steel Actuator rod
- 3 Drilled inserts (1.5mm - 2mm - 2.5mm)

When you install the gas system we suggest that you start with installing the smallest insert into the gaspiston (1,5mm). 

Start with shooting with 1 round in the magazine, and when the rifle functions well the spend casing should end up 3-4 feet from were you stand, the bolt should be locked in the rear position.

Then move up to 2 rounds in the magazine.

If the case is not properly ejected and the bolt is not in the rear position, you could use a insert with a larger hole, e.g. 2mm or 2.5mm. to increase the ammount of gas flow.
